When I am connected to that immense creative energy which exists in the universe, I feel that it effortlessly flows through me and expresses itself as a drawing. It is a deep meditation on life itself. I get a lot of inner peace and stillness from this process. I studied Art throughout my University years, but most formally and fruitfully while living in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico from 1998 to 2001. There, I had the opportunity to study painting and drawing with Chilean artist and muralist, Carmen Cereceda, who had worked with both Diego Rivera and Siquieros.
